W.W.A.D.

The message implied is true for most asians*:

*Unfortunately, I don't fit this stereotype. :( Don't worry though! Chances are there is probably an asian near you. Chances are you probably know one too! If you are lucky, you might even be one. If not, with the current growth rate projections, I am sure that you will eventually know one. :)

Here is the typical asian mindset: An asian friend of mine (who shall remain nameless for purposes of avoiding a lawsuit) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, complained excessively of how she got an A- (instead of an A) in Organic Chemisty II, a class in which most people struggle and strive to get a B.

Hey. I'm an Asian! ;P But yes, actually you are quite right. Asians place a very high emphasis on education, and we view brainy people quite different from, say, America. Like in my school, for example: the "cool" kids are the ones in the top classes, and are certainly not nerds :D
